I have a formula field "Total Outs" that pulls its data from a table that contains many different values. How can I create a subtotal of "Total Outs" and Group them by "Teams." It does not give me the option to subtotal. Could I create a formula that stores these values and then initializes itself after each new team? Or is there an easier solution?

See the FAQ on running totals.
You will need the 3-formula technique.

For an easier solution I would need you to post the formula for "Total Outs". Ken Hamady

I figured it out... I used the select expert to cancel out hte need for a formula field, then I converted the field to Numeric values and totaled them from there.. Thanks for the help
