how do I create a 'Splash Screen' like VC++ start up screen 1

I would like to display a splash screen that displays when my program starts, just the like the one seen when starting the VC++ IDE. <br>

Any advice or example on this is greatly appreciated.<br>

There is a standard componet for doing this. In VC 5.0. select the Project\Add to project\Components and Controls menu item. The componet you want id under the Developer Studio Componets folder in the dialog that comes up.<br>
This will add a rather blah bitmap that you can modify to suit your needs.<br>
<br>
I assume VC 6 has something similar although the menu item may be changed. There are some other good components in there worth exploring.<br>
