I'm trying to copy printer software Install folders from a CD in a malfuntioning CD Player directly to my hard drive but I need to create a new directory first. How do I do that, please? Thanks in advance!

Hi

Don't really get what you mean. But you can try this,

at the MSDOS prompt type

[tt]md[/tt] directoryname

Open up My Computer and go to the drive you want to put the new folder (C:\ for example) Then Click File | New | Folder and type in a name.

At desktop or in drive or in folder , over blank space, right click, new, folder. Ed Fair
