How do I create a NEW Cognos Catalog file *.cat ?

Hello, I'm a new user to Cognos 7.3, but am a skilled BI/DBA/Data Developer type.

The cryptic "documentation" on my server makes too many assumptions and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make a new catalog as opposed to the default sample "GOSales.cat" file.

For reference, I've got PowerPlay Connect talking to my SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services cubes, so that's no problem, and everything else is configured and running correctly.

I just need the step-by-step lowdown on creating a NEW custom .cat file.
