How do I create a local cube ?

Good day,

I'm unsure what people refere to when they talk about cubes. Would that be the same as a Pivot Table in Excel ?

A cube can have many dimensions, hence it's often called a MDC (Multi Dimensional Cube). An Excel Pivot table is roughly equivalent to a 3 dimensional cube.
