We have a 4 citrix servers which users log into.
I added a DSN to each server from the ODBC control panel in windows for an Access report. The DSN points to a db on MS SQL server.
There were plenty of other DSNs that this access app used and they work fine. I tested the new one on the citrix server itself and the Access app works fine.
BUT, when I log in from citrix - it won't connect i get SQLState 08004. See the exact error here.
I saw a suggestion previously to change permissions in the registry - but that didn't make a difference.
The Access app uses the same string for each DSN that it needs. The new connection string is the exact same as the others . See
Is there a step I am missing?
