Hi All,

My recently installed BCM400 (Nov 16th) powers up correctly with the Power LED indicator Green. After short time the LED goes solid red. Nothing in the logs except for this:

Alarm ID 326

Core Telephony - "Slip Underflow"short term alarm threshold has been exceeded on the DTM. The module is in a no-new-calls state.

Resetting the LED via Business Element Manager and /or cycle powering the unit changs the LED back to green for a short while before it returns to Red.

The BCM has been moved to a Dedicated Power source and is adequately cooled.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The alarm is telling you that you are taking errors on you T1 or PRI that exceed acceptable levels. Do you have a T1 or PRI
in the system that is not connected to anything: If so you may want to disable that module. If the Module is connected you may want to have your provider check their span for problems.

Problem solved. very simple too. PRI timing was set to default internal timing. I changed to external primary and all is well with the universe. BCM tech who installed had no clue. Special thanks to Mike for his BCM expertise. Thanks to Rick for his reply.
