I'm running on Lotus Notes R5. How do I copy permanently the company address book onto remote users' laptops and their personal address book who only dial-in from outside to replicate their e-mail?

if your users are working remotely and wanting to use the company address bthey will have to create a replica just like they should with their mailfile. You then have to set this up in user preferences so that notes knows it's there, just like with their personnal address book (names.nsf). They are best doing the replication on a network if possible as it can take quite a long time over dial-up. If this is not possible, then they can just replicate a minimal address book. When the company names.nsf is a very large file, you could also consider building a directory catalog file and make a replica copy of this file onto the laptop...
Works really great... Peter Van Eeckhoutte
