How do I configure VLan trunking between an hp2824 to a cisco switch

Can anyone help me configure vlan trunking between a cisco 3548xl and a hp 2824? and is there a way to make the 2824 a "client" or do i just have to maintain a copy of the vlans on the hp switch and in the cisco domain?

You can use 802.1q only. Cisco use VTP only, so you have no choice but to hold a copy of all the VLAN's required on the HP switch.
