How do I configure Gnome 4.1 with xfree86 after install

I installed Gnome 4.1 on my Intel x86 desktop computer but I couldn't start The Gnome desktop because it dose not support my Video card so I installed xfree86, but I don't know how to configure it that it should work with Gnome 4.1 (I was able to run startx).

Please help how to configure gnome 4.1 with xfree86

Please help thanks in advance
