How do I chkdsk info after its completed

After I run chkdsk, how do I find its results? I was told to check the events log & system log, but I cant find those either????? could some one spell it out for me please?????? Thank you very much!!!!!

Start->Programs->Administrative Tools->Event Logs. Go to System log, and look for results in here.
