I am a newbie trying to change the system time and date on a Sun Ultra 60 running Solaris operating system.

Does anyone out there know how I can accomplish this?

Thanks

Newbie

Log on as [tt]root[/tt] and use the [tt]date[/tt] command. See the man page for [tt]date[/tt] for more info.

Hope this helps.

Take a look at the manual pages for date... man date

You can also set up NTP (Network Time Protocol) is you know of a NTP server
