I have a Meridian1 Option 11C with Meridian Mail

How do I change the number of rings before a call goes to voicemail

Currently it goes to voicemail after only 3 rings

In the phone programming the prompt is rco. The default is 0. Change it to 1 or 2.

1. Go to LD 21 and print RDR. You will see the following listed:
CFN0 4
CFN1 6
CFN2 1
DFN0 4
DFN1 6
DFN2 1

In this case a RCO of 0 on a phone will give you 4 rings, a RC0 of 1 will be 6 rings and a RCO of 2 will be 1 ring.
Your switch will probably be different. Once you determine what you have programmed in the CDB go to LD 20 and CHG the set RCO to the approprate number. If you answered YES to ECHG the command would be RCO 0.

The RDR black that PackRat1 provided are defaults. If you have only 3 rings, one of your tables is set to 3. Look at the RDR data, and see which one is set to 3, and set it to 4......and that should make an easy fix for you. (you make the changes in LD 15).

Keep in mind that when you do this, if you had set up 3 rings for a reason, that person is now going to get 4 rings also.
