How do I change the number of rings before VM

How do I change the number of rings before the call is transfered to voice mail. Can this be changed per extention. Thanks in advance.

Depending on your release Legend I think you can change the 'cover delay' per extension. I don't have the manuals at home so I can't tell you exactly where to find 'cover delay' in programming. Brian Cox

Two issues here. First you can change the group cover delay per extension. Second, if you do, you have to look at the transfer return time (under options) as well. Otherwise when you transfer a caller to an extension with an increased cover delay time, it will never go to voice mail as the transfer return timer is exceeded first. Consider both before changing.
