How do I change the NCOS setting on an extension

I am very new to PBX administration, so please bear with me.

I am trying to allow an extension to make international calls. I need to change their NCOS setting to 6 so they can do this.

Please someone let me know how to chnage this.

I forgot to let you all know that I have a Meridian 1 PBX system

TYPE: xxxx <enter>(your type of phone)
TN xx xx xx xx <enter>(TN of the phone)
ECHG YES <enter>
ITEM NCOS 6 <enter>
ITEM <enter>
