There was a previous post related to this question. I do know how to disable the ability to use the <shift> key when Access opens in order to view the back-end of the database. But I am wondering ..... is it possible to simply change the key that is required for this function to, for example, the <Backspace> or the <Space> key? There are more circuitous ways to disable and enable this function, but I don't think that several of the people to whom I actually need to give access are up to using them.

Thanks,
Derek
