I was used to seeing a large blue "W" for word and a big green "X" for excel now that I Upgrade to 2007 I miss the huge easy to see targets and now have to examine them closely to make sure I'm hitting the correct one. (getting old I guess)
anyway I can't seem to find the programs themselves on my PC. I see the icons to launch them but when I right click anything I see the Change Icon button is grayed out!!!

When I installed it, it asked if I wanted to keep anything or upgrade I choose keep to Access 2002 and upgraded the rest. But where did they get installed there is not Program Files Office 2007 folder and they are not in the original Office XP folder with the other left over stuff.
I'm also hoping there are different icons to choose from, that I like better than the 2007 rinky dinky ones I have now

Hi Doug,

I would expect to Find the Office 2007 files in:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12

Depending on your security settings, you can change the shortcut icon by right-clicking on the current icon and choosing Properties|Change Icon.

Cheers
