I am working in Excel (Office 2000). I have a single data series that contains data that is actual numbers to date and from then on the numbers are projections. My chart is a scatter diagram. I would like the data points to be closed circles for the actual data and then when the numbers change to projections I would like the data series to reflect that by making the data point circles open circles. Does anyone know if Excel has a way to accomodate this?

Separate the data into two series. One actual, one forecast. After you've created the chart again, just change it so both are the same color.
