How do I change the color of a button or tab?

Thanks,
Jenny

Sorry, it cannot be done with Access.

The best workaround is to set a textbox or label properties to mimic the look of a command button or tab and set the background colours to what you want. Use the Mouse Down and Mouse Up properties to mimic the click event.

The properties to look at would include the Border Style, the Background Colour, the Mouse events and the Click event.

Hope this helps

Or you could create images in Paint Shop Pro and import them into access. Use the onclick event to mimic buttons. As for changing the colour of the tab controls, I have never seen it done.

Hi Jenny

I was very confused when I found everything greyed out for buttons.

I didn't try this - but I guess you can make your button transparent and then use a label for appearance.

Tabs? No idea yet.

Thanks for the above. I will now try some of these ideas...

Hi,

You can change the fore color of a commandbutton in VB
I don't know if it can be done in access.

Put this code in a module
