Hi all,

When someone at our retail store calls someone on the outside, their callerID shows our primary company number. That number is for administrative offices - not the store. So (on a weekend) they hear Sorry We're Closed.

In Nortel Meridian Option 11 - is there a way to show the actual DID# on their callerID - or perhaps the store's main auto attendant call-in number when called from one of the store's DIDs?

(People don't listen to their voicemail anymore - they just call what was on their display.)

Many thanks!!!

Not to be short but just search keyword clid and you will find all you need. There have been recent discussions about this.

Sorry - I did search - but my searches didn't really find the right things. Either I'd get thousands of results, or ones that were too technical for me.

I'll try adding CLID as a keyword (sorry, didn't know to use it - and when it appeared, again was over my head)

Thanks for the quick response.

You have to build the entry in ld 15. Net_data is where it is located.

Ricky and Buddy, thanks for the posts - perfect and just what I needed! I will be building my first CLIDs thanks!!!!

I know our system is back-level. I'm finding I don't have a PRT option in LD15 - so did CHG. Hope I'm not hosing anything too bad but worst comes to worst I probably need new CLIDs anyway. It saved 256 as new size (not sure what the old one was). Anyone think of a way to just do a display first before the CHG? - Thanks:

Wow, am I dense, thanks Buddy! :)

I love this forum! And now that I know what I'm looking for, I am finding similar (helpful) posts - but this is the best!, many thanks!

Thanks again all, I added a 3rd CLID entry and that did the trick! Perfect!
