How do i change my default GUI sess

How do i change my default GUI session from GNOME to KDE.
my login is text base only.after login if i type startx my default GNOME session is starting,it should start my KDE session.

Hi,

If its redhat, just run '/usr/bin/switchdesk' (from a console window under gnome) and change the default desktop with that -->
