Can I change my computer from USB 1.1 to USB 2.1?

What kind of computer and OS are you running? My old Win98SE machine has an adaptor card to give it USB 2. I don't know if its 2.1. It works fine.

Nealman777:

Yes, you can. Just buy a USB 2.0 PCI adapter card that has drivers for your OS. Usually, Win98 and higher is supported.

Don't forget that each USB device and cable must be USB 2.0 compliant in order for you to get USB 2.0 speeds. Otherwise, if either the cable or device isn't meant for 2.0, then you'll only see USB 1.1 speeds.
