I am sending out huge graphics for a display booth and the printer spec sheet indicates that I have to set my black specifications to 25, 25, 25, and 100 for inkjet printing. I have never had to do that before and I don't want to send the wrong thing. Does anyone know what I need to do?

i'm almost 100% certain that the printer specs require 25% cyan, magenta & yellow 'behind' the black to make it 'richer'. this stops the black being too thin.

you need to change your CMYK setup...

in Photoshop 5.5 (sorry do not have 7) it is under:-

File (menu) -> Color Settings (menu) -> CMYK setup

change to GCR (Grey Component Replacement) to Heavy - this is what you need

Kind Regards
Duncan
