how can i change my local drive letter ( this instance drive d:) to drive f: ? i need to do this as a specific app needs drive d: for the network mapping

thanks

Rob If in doubt get the Ball Pein Hammer out

If its a CD-rom drive then go to control panel - system - and click the device manager tab. Double click the cdrom drive you want to change and the properties page will be displayed. Click the settings tab. In the reserved drive letters set the start and end letter to F. Click OK all the way out and reboot.
