I am not a c++ programmer I program in visual basic. But what I need is beyond (I believe) the scope of VB. I'm not even sure if you can do it in c++. A debug routine?? I have NTFS volumes on my server and I want to use Ghost (Imaging software) to back up the system drives across the network. I want to format a cd-rom with dos. I need one routine that when I reboot the NT server it changes the bios boot sequence to (CD_ROM,C)so that when the system restarts it will boot from the cd-rom run my Imaging software. As a last step in this process I need a second routine that will change the bios boot sequence back to (C,CD-ROM)so that the server can restart the NT server without user intervention. I've been all over the net looking for software.I'm hoping these settings are generic from one bios to another and so that a simple program can be made. Or someone can tell me how I might accomplish this system by system.
