Hi all,
I had to disjoin my pc from domain, and changed it to workgroup mode, and had to restart the pc. Now I am not able to log in, and get the message:
make sure the domain is correct. how can I change it back, or other wise log in?

Thanks!

Does the "Log on to:" field (may need to click on Options >>) have the domain name still in it? If so, change it to the %COMPUTERNAME% (this computer) option and you can log in with a local user account.

You can then join the computer to the domain again. HTH

no, actually the only thing I see in Options is Log in using dial-up connection.
But I can't dial into the network either.
Is there another way?

do you know any local user a/c at all, e.g. the administrator a/c?
if so log in with this and rejoin the domain

this would be the easy way out......

seeing as the pc is no longer a domain member, you have to log in with a local account,
and one that has admin rights on the pc to be able to join it to the domain.
