how do i change a part drive to one 1

I have 40 gig hdd which is in two parts 1st fat file 7.81mb
2nd is ntfs file 34.7 gig how do i get it back to one drive without formating
I run windows xp pro

You need something like Partition Magic to do this (ie, third party tool - XP's own tools won't do it).
