This is merely an annoyance, but enough of one that I finally want to do something about it. I click on My Network Places, then "Entire Network" and instead of getting a useful list of resources, I have to click on the "entire network" link first. Is there a reg hack so I don't have to click on the this and just get right to the network?

What about drag and doping a shortcut of what you want where you want it.

I would suggest that as well. CREATE a shortcut to the server.

Thanks, but our network is made up of several domains and several servers within each domain. I could make a shortcut to both the "Microsoft Windows Network" and "Novell" but I'm convinced there must be a way to skip the "entire network" screen...

I access my Network resources by pressing: "Windows Key + Ctrl + F " when the search window opens I press "Enter" and the network resources are displayed.

Thanks alubken, that is a pretty quick and easy way of gettting to the list, even if it's coming up in the search window instead. Have a star.
I'll keep looking, and post back if/when I find a way to do this...

hey goto and download "X-teq Systems Setup", a very user friendly registry "hacker" and more! With this you will be able to get rid of the entire networks thing. (don't take my work for it but if it isn't there its not a waste, the program is very useful in other ways too!)
