I am a beginner, so please bear with me. I am using a movie clip as a symbol in another movie. I want to give the user full control: Play, Pause, Stop, Reverse(one frame), Forward(one frame). I have Play, Pause, and Stop all figured out, but I don't know how to advance or reverse it one frame. What is the best way to do this? Thanks.

Thanks dave!! That worked perfectly. I set x to equal the current frame in the clip. Then just incremented by one frame for forward and decremented for reverse. This has saved me an enormous amount of time. Thank You. Ben
