Sorry about this, but i am in the process of building my first server, so these questions may be a bit obvious to some of you.

I have built my Netfinity 5600 and have installed 2 17.2gb drives in an array. I split this equally into 2 raid0 logical drives. Drive0 @ 17.2gb and Drive1 @ 17.2gb.

I now want to add a third 17.2gb Drive and use it as a mirror of Drive0 using raid1. How do i achieve this?

Do I make the third drive a new array? or do i need to link it 2 the first array?

If further clarification is needed please ask.

no you would need 2 more 17.2 gb hdd's. But a better solution and one that would use just 3 drives is to set it up as raid 5. best performance to redundancy of any raid setup. you might add a 4th as a hot spare, but that is up to you and the budget. :)
