How do I add missing fields to filters

There are a number of fields missing from the field name drop down in filters when I go to create a filter. They were there before but have now disappeared. Anyone know how I can re-add them again?

That list depends on which database you're in at the time. Make sure you're in the proper database.

If you are in the correct database, my users sometimes have issues when they see the actually fields name, and not th elocal or global label.

They have to be on the correct user screen for them to show up when they are doing the filters.
