How do i add IMC to exchange server 4.0?

Hello, i am setting up exchange server 4.0 for a company.. and i don't know exchange well.. how do i add the Internet Mail connector to it?? i can only find answers for exchange 5.5. and they are not the same! someone, anyone, please help me!! =)
