How do i add domain admin to workstations adminstrator group

When i logon locally to workstation - I tried to add the domain admin group to workstation admin group but the option to select the server to select the domain admin is not listed only the local workstaion name is listed.

Yes, all the workstations are pointing to server DNS, DHCP is handing out IP and DNS settings. should i change the workstation to ISP DNS.

The local admin doesn't have the creds to query AD to get domain groups, so you'll need to log on as the domain admin to add the domain admins to the local admins group.
