One of our offices in California cannot dial 9-1-855-xxx-xxxx, 9-1-866-xxx-xxxx, 9-1-877-xxx-xxxx or 9-1-888-xxx-xxxx numbers from their MLS phones. Any assistance on how to add these "area codes" would be greatly appreciated. Is #412 the access code to get into "Allowed Lists?" Do they need to get into "List Entry" at the console and find a blank one to add the four "area codes?

#417 is Allowed Lists. You would also enter the list number (1 through 8) and the entry number (01 through 10). It's must easier if you have the overlay. Then it's #417, List number, and Next Item to cycle throuh the list.

You need to determine what is already allowed, and where there are blank entries to allow you to add the new prefixes.

Once you find the blank slots, enter 1 and the area code, then press enter (also found on the overlay).

One other way it might have been done would be to put the toll free prefixes in the Emergency List, which is #406, with entries from 01 to 10.

Not familiar with #412 - What is it, or what do you get when you enter it?

Hi KMCGRATH,
Another way to do this is to enter the number on a system speed dial (F600-699) from ext 10 or 11. Precede the number with an "*" and this will override dialing restrictions. Also, the number can now be dialed by entering F6XX at a system phone or #6XX from a touch tone pots phone.
