How do I add a field to existing report

Using Crystal Report 8.5

I have a report. I need to add one more column from table which is already chosen.

I did the following:

Insert Menu --> Field Obj ---> added the field from "Database field".

If I preview report doesn't display data for the new field I added.

I checked the query (Database ---> Show SQL Query). New field is not added to the query. I added manually. But When I go back I don't see the field in the SQL.

hit the INSERT FIELDS button and simply drag it from the database fields to where you want it on the report.

You might want to try going to database->verify database.

I figured out today, why I don't see the inserted field from added table doesn't show up in 'Show SQL query'.

The reason was added table is not linked properly with othe existing table when I added new tables.
