I am using Apache on an external Redhat 6.2 machine and Frontpage editor on an internal machine. After going through all the hoops for installing Frontpage Server Extensions I am able to access the root web and all subwebs on the linux box using Frontpage. But I am not able to access any ~user web pages. I usually get an error stating "405 Method Not Allowed The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL /~user/_vti_bin/_vti_aut/author.exe.
Apache/1.3.12 Server at Port 80". Does anyone know how or where I can find out what entries I need to include in my httpd.conf file or access files if this is indeed an apache configuration problem??

Did you put your user dir in the dir "users"?
Then use this line in httpd.conf so Apache knows where to look:
UserDir "C:/Program Files/Apache Group/Apache/users/"
