I'm trying to do a backup of all the data that's on a 2nd hard drive that's in our server thru FTP but I don't know how to access that drive thru an FTP command. I'm actually using a Windows PC system so I can backup the data to CD because our DAT backup is broken on that server. I spent all morning backing up the old data and then I was told the consultants moved everything to the 2nd drive. Thanks

just change directory to the drive name before you get the files:
cd /secondrivename

I don't know the name of the second drive do I use my FTP program and just type cd /d: ?

The second hard drive should be invisible to you. If the 2nd hard drive was installed correctly you would back your data up the same way. Some will come off drive0 and some off drive1, depending on how the filesystems are mounted.
The only problem is if the consultants copied the data to different path(directory or filesystem). Then they would have changed the login path/directories and you would change the ftp command to match the new area.
Unix doesn't talk drive locations like dos/windows, at least not once everything is connected. Ed Fair

You can do a 'df' command to see if the the second drive is mounted on a directory name , or type the command mount to view mounted file systems. If the 2nd disc is shown with a mount point name , use that for the cd command (such as: cd /disk2)
