You are allowed to put in 25 separate items into a Word drop down field - I would like to place more than that, say 40. How do I do this? Also, the character width per line, is 50 characters, can this be extended?

Many thanks

use two dd controls, both with a SPACE in the frist selection and divide the list.

Many thanks for your prompt reply! However, I would like to ask, what is a dd control? I'm afraid I'm not VBA literate.

You can not put more than 25 items in a formfield dropdown (from the Forms toolbar).

If you really need 40 - and I doubt it - then use an ActiveX combobox, from the Controls toolbar.
