How do 'bold' a scanned word? 2

I have a scan of a hand written word (logo) and when I print it's too thin. Is there a way to put a 'bold' or something similar to make it stand out more?

You could also try using Filter > Other > Minimum. Note that in some versions of Photoshop, you might have to use Maximum in certain modes.
