How different is Crystal 8 from Crystal 7

I worked on Crystal reports 7 version. But I guess version 8 is already in market. Is it totally different from version 7 and can I start working on version 8 with out any problems.

If you were comfortable in 7 you won't have any problems with 8. I use the same course material when I teach both products and there are very few differences in the basics. Mostly just added features and a few areas with a different look and feel. Ken Hamady

Thankx for your response Kenhamady. Your resume and services look great and I might get in touch with you soon for a corporate training.

In the current situation there is Oracle database and the client wants to have crystal reports from that database.
Do I need to know Oracle database inorder to accomplish this task? In my past experience, I have developed crystal reports using SQL server database and Access. Is it same with oracle also.
