I see that I have DIDs routed to specific extensions on a T1 (non- pri t1) on and Elite 192.

The ext numbers are 200 series
The Direct inward dial number use 3 digits
There is not conversion taking place per programming.

How does the call terminate on specific extensions? The extensions do not match the did digits and the did table is blank!!! i.e. the station number is 201 but DID ending with 855 will terminate on 201. How does it get there if the DID table is blank and there is no conversion?

Are you sure you have DID's? If the T1 is channelized you can DIT a channel to a phone. Other than 1-1-20, 1-1-21, and 1-1-22 or the DID matching the extension I have not any other way to make this work in the phone system. Your Telco could be stripping the DID and sending you bogus denis digits to match your phone system.

I think you are correct. I think they did channelize it. How can I know where they are sending each DID? I cannot talk to the telco as they are being dropped and have already cut us off. When the new carrier comes in, they will not know where to send the calls. Unless this follows DIT commands?

You can set up code 064 in 1-1-47 and then id each of the t1 channels, then compare 3-42 & 3-43 to see where each channel is pointed to. Shouldn't be to bad if you only have 1 T1.

I checked 1-1-20, 1-1-21, and 1-1-22.
here is what I have:
1-1-20= 3 digits/did forward station blank.
1-1-21= No conversion
1-1-22= blank - all 200 slots are blank day and night mode.

3-42 all ports to the same station (299)
3-43 all ports to the same station (200)

I am at a loss as I know that some of the DIDs are going to certain stations and I cannot figure out how it was done. Do you think that the carrier is outpulsing the correct digits that match the station? I.e. even thought the phone number is 212-555-1000 they are outpulsing 209 to go to station 209?

It maybe that even though your last 3 digits are 000, the the CO pulsing/toning out station 209.

Here is a test you can make, try changing ext 209 to be ext 309. If the calls are not getting through to 309 then it is not based on a DIT only one a DID or ring programming.

If the calls go though, I dont know. Is it possible to be programmed but not showing? Any other wierd stuff in that system?
