Hi all.

I'm really interested in understanding people's experiences with providing end user the ability to writing complex queries and reports in the studios without the end user having to write code, if then else logic, etc.

Thanks in advance for any help

tbt103,

When we rolled out ReportNet, we identified our Power users from the Business Units. As a prerequisite, they had to be proficient Excel users (some VBA or some knowledge of the functions). We then put them on an extensive Report Studio course and then followed up periodically.

We found some resistance at first but eventually they adopted CRN and the Excel dependency reduced over time.

COGNOISEcom,

I am having difficulty identifying the power users. I am going between the notions of who knows the data best – vs - who is more technically inclined.

The Excel and VBA base line makes sense because they would have both. Thanks.
