I need to default this voicemail for resale, can someone tell how this is done. It would be great.

Thank you in advance

This information isn't usually shared with end users or even system administrators.

contact a Avaya dealer , they can call in and do it for you for
you , usually for a min fee.

why bother ?

their simple enough , go in and delete all mailbox's and change the greetings to something like "day greeting " , night greeting" etc.

I know how to default them but thats what I did with my last one , its quicker and gets the job done and the new owner doesn't get any data

I am not the end user, I simply replaced the phone system with a new one and they donated the eqipment to me. I want to set it back to factory default.

If someone knows how please let me know.

Thanks.

Its info thats not posted in the open forums (for obvious reasons

call a Avaya dealer and they can call in and reset it for you (for a fee)

Is there a quick way to erase all programming on a Nortel voice mail. It's going from ABC Co. to XYZ Co. and they need to start fresh? I've never had to do this...

Thank TheMitelGuy
for this valuable post!

log into voicemail feat. 983 pswd 12xxxx or 102xxxx etc. depending on your dn lengh then press 1 pswd REINSTALL that will erase all old data. Then you will have to do a Feat. 983 pswd CONFIG after the vmail is reset, then your good to go.

2 totally different animals. You must be onsite with Startalk voicemail to reset. I can call into a Partner voicemail and wipe it out remotely.

MEANING. If we were to post such a procedure, disgruntled employees that read these posts could ruin voicemails across the country.

You will not get the procedure here.
