How CDP works..¿?? In this moment I have 2 Opcion 11 that work fine, from one side "A", I have DN's with 52xx, 53xx and 55xx and the other side "B" has DN's with 43x and 76x. Both sides You can dial the DN directly and the conection is fine.

Each one, works with a DTI card for example on side A i found CDPs in this way...

The next week a third option arrives, i don't have a clear idea who to program CDP for comunication between other 2 opcion 11.

Help me plase...

The components of CDP include:

The Steering Code - that's the DSC in your case. Essentially, it is a DN, that when dialed, seeks the instructions of a Route List rather than rings on a key.

The Route List - this contains the list of Trunk Routes that will accept the digits and send them along. Each Trunk route is identified as an ENTR or Entry in the Route List.

So, my advice is to print out RLI 4 and RLI 6 in LD86 - that will reveal the Trunk routes and start to bring things together.

CDP = Coordinated Dialing Plan.

If you have 3 sites - A, B, C then you must program the CDP as follows:

In site A - CDP codes for sites B & C
In site B - CDP codes for sites A & C
In site C - CDP codes for sites A & B
(Every site should have entries for the other sites DN's that you want to be able to dial directly).

When you add the 3rd site, how will it connect to the other 2? Will it have independent connections to both existing systems, or a single connection to one of the systems? This will determine how you do the final programming.

If all sites are fully meshed, the program your steering codes in LD 87 as above.

If the new site only has a connection to one of the existing sites, then you will need to use the existing site with the connection to the new site as a hub. For example, if Site C has a connection to site A, then you will program the steering codes destined for site C in site B to use the same route as those destined for site A, and the steering codes destined for site B in site C would use the same route as the steering codes for site A. (I hope this makes sense).

cdp points the call to a rlb, the rlb/rli sends the call to a route data block.. the dialed digits are then sent to the far end.. you can use a dgt/dmi to modify or del digits from the original dialed digits..
