HOW CAN YOU USE DATA FROM ANOTHER PROGRAM I.E EXCEL IN C++

I AM TRYING TO USE CERTAIN VALUES FROM EXCEL IN MY PROGRAM BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO READ THE VALUES AUTOMATICALLY FROM EXCEL. THE VALUES CHANGE ALL THE TIME AND ITS GETTING TIRING INPUTTING THEM MANUALLY INTO THE PROGRAM I.E AT TIME 0; X=2,TIME 1 ;X=3,BUT THESE VALUES MAY CHANGE SO WHAT I'M TRYING TO FIND OUT IS: IS IT POSSIBLE FOR THE PROGRAM TO CALL EXCEL AND GET THE X VALUES RESPECTIVELY?
PLEASE HELP!
