I need to create a mirror image of a shape I've drawn in quark. I can spin objects and invert them but I can't flip them(and I'm not refering to flipping an image in a picture box; that's easy). Anyone know of a way to do this in Quark?

I don't want to have to do it in Freehand and import it.

You can do it, but it doesn't feel as precise as I'd like. (You'll see what I mean).

Select your image and go to Item > Edit > Shape so that the shape is NOT editable (big handles and rectangle selection box). Click on the handle half way down the selection box on the one of the sides and start dragging in the opposite direction. The shape squashes, flips, and starts to pull out to normal on the other side. I try to visually set it, then go back in and check the original shape for width, height, etc., compare with my new shape, and plug the numbers in if I didn't get it close enough.

Hope my description makes sense & good luck,

Thankyou nichole,

I tried it and it worked, but not quite perfect! Some of the lines in my flipped image are not quite straight anymore. That's Quarks fault! I think the makers of Quark need to look into making this process easyier and more precise.

You did very well nichole,
Thanks for your help.
