How can you allow students to update their own e-mail addresses?

I am looking for a way to allow students to update their e-mail address. I look at this process being very similar to their ability to update their password.

Can you add the email address field to the update password screen?

Can you make a new link just below "Change Password" called "Change Email", where students could change their email address?

Is there a different way to accomplish this???

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

You could setup a custom form linking from the logon page. and write a perl script which allows users to update their email address and writes this value to the database. If you wished to allow them to change their email after they logged on you could user SCORM calls to get their username and password.
