Almost after everypower outage the system(MD110) needs to be resetted.I would like to know which device on the Lim to reset.I know that we check the power and rectifier.I just wanna know which connected card.
Thanks

Not sure what you mean by "resettled" don't you have any battery back ups in the LIMs?

i mean reset and its seems our batteries that provide backup are gone.I am trying to get quatation for new batteries but in the meantime i am hoping to make the system functions

reseat the NIU(2), and reset the LPU, press the button, remove and reseat in mag, press the button again and the system should load. It should load automatically so if it is not loading you need to put an LPU display on the LPU card and check the number and refer to Alex to see where your problem is

best parnum

Good luck with getting the batteries sorted, it would make things easier for you

don't know how often you loose your power? but do you run dusyi:print=result? to back up any changes you make?

If I were you I would start running regular back ups, maybe run this once a month so you only loose a months changes?????

To make a safety back up first run

DUBDP;

this will show you which is the latest back up RELX (x = 1 or 2 which ever is the newest)

Then run

FISBI:DIR=RELX;

you will need to confirm this with

Y;

this may take some time to complete

I believe you can back up to an external source or even the DNA server if you have one?
