How can I use VBA6-Functions in Access97

Hi,

I have a problem with VBA.
I want to use some new VBA-Functions like 'SPLIT' but they are only included in the newest VBA-Runtimes 6.

Now I've tried to activate the new Runtimes which are installed on my system (I can see them under Reference).

But Access automatically activate the old runtimes V3 which can not be deactivated.
And it is not possible to activate the new ones at the same time.

Is there a way I can use the new runtimes?
