How can I use the map command in a login script to map to a non Novell 1

I want to include a map to an NT server path in a Novell login script. Can the map command do this ?
I tried using map root H: \\<NT server name>\<sharename>
But this gave me an error.

You cannot use the MAP command to map an NT share. You need to use #net use h: \\ntserver name\sharename
The # is to execute an external command.
